5 members of the College of the Rockies Avalanche teams paid a visit to Marysville Elementary school to introduce volleyball to the students in Grades 1, 2 and 3.  

This is the second year that the Avs have been invited to Marysville to teach volleyball and it continues to be an overwhelming success for both the children and the student athletes.

This visit saw the Avs building on some of the skills that they taught to the children last year and we were excited to see that the children remembered some of the drills.

There were many smiling faces at the end of the day and the Avs:  Mackenzie Morey, Zach James, Ari Benwell, Miranda Myndio and Taylor Forster deemed the day an amazing opportunity and look forward to going back again next year.
