Avalanche Women’s Volleyball Adds Libero Audrey Crosby to 2026/27 Recruiting Class

The College of the Rockies Avalanche Women's Volleyball Program is proud to announce the signing of Audrey Crosby, a standout libero from Park Girls Volleyball Club. Known for her calm but fiercely competitive presence, Crosby has earned a strong reputation for her steady leadership and high-level ball control. Her performance has consistently placed her among Alberta's top young athletes, earning invitations to two Team Alberta training camps and the opportunity to compete in two Alberta Cups.

Crosby has played up an age group for six straight seasons and will complete her U18 year with Park Girls Volleyball Club. Throughout her club career, she has often shared the floor with several current Avalanche athletes—an experience she's eager to build on as she transitions to the post-secondary game. "After meeting with Coach Bryan and seeing his passion for the game, I knew COTR was where I wanted to be," said Crosby. "The energy of the team and the incredible community made the choice even easier. I'm so excited to be a part of this program and enjoy everything the amazing location has to offer!"

Avalanche head coach Bryan Fraser is thrilled with the addition of Crosby to next year's roster. "Audrey is a fantastic addition to our 2026–2027 roster," said Fraser. "She brings strong ball control, a real eagerness to learn, and a clear desire to grow into a top post-secondary libero. Her work ethic is exceptional, and with her impressive volleyball IQ, I'm confident she'll develop into one of the premier players in the PACWEST. Academically, she's another outstanding student with big goals, and we're excited to welcome her into our program."

Crosby becomes the next key piece of the Avalanche's growing 2026/27 recruiting class, further strengthening a talented group headed to Cranbrook next fall.
